Triumph Street Twin Stock Tyres
The Street Twin is fitted with Pirelli Sportscomp tyres as stock.
Triumph Street Twin Best Tyres
The stock tyres don’t get the best feedback from owners. They look good but they’re not a brilliant road tyre. We’ve broken the offerings below into the main categories that we think Street Twin owners will use their bike for.
All-weather
Great options for impressive road grip in all conditions
Sporty road riding
Great rubber for fast road riding. These tyres won’t let you down when it rains, either.
Pirelli Scorpion Trail 3Â (Ignore the word trail in the name, these are great road tyres)
Classic
If you want to keep the retro vibe.
Custom / Knobbly
If you want your Street Twin to have that urban brat-style look.
Triumph Street Twin Tyre Pressures
You can find your motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressures in your owner’s handbook. You’ll also find a tyre pressure chart sticker on the swingarm.
If you have no idea what pressures to run, this is our general rule:
Scooter: F 30psi, R 30psi
Normal Motorcycle: F 36psi, R 42psi
Big Tourer: F 42psi, R 42psi
125cc Bike: F 33psi, R 36psi
You should always check your tyre pressures when the tyres are cold. Check out our range of motorcycle tyre pressure gauges here.
