Avon has been making tyres in the same factory since 1904. How’s that for British engineering? They started making motorcycle tyres in 1911 and pretty much all of their range is still made in the UK.
While they are synonymous with classic bikes and cruisers, Avon have recently won races in the Manx GP and were the control tyre for some Irish Road Racing championships. Just because they’re a relatively small brand, doesn’t mean they can’t produce tyres that compete with the big boys. After all, they’ve been making motorcycle tyres for over a century and you don’t stay in business that long if you don’t produce something people want.
Today Avon offers a great value range of tyres, from the 3D Ultra for fast road riders, to the TrekRider for Adventure bikes and not forgetting their range of whitewall tyres, popular with cruiser and classic motorcycle enthusiasts. Avon’s latest Roadrider the Mk2 has a huge range of sizes and is popular with riders of commuters and classic bikers.
We are an approved Avon tyre dealer and we sell official Avon UK motorcycle tyres and scooter tyres.
