What is it: The Pirelli Angel GT is a proven sport-touring tyre that blends sporty handling with long-distance durability. Although it has now been superseded by the Angel GT II, that makes the original Angel GT a seriously strong value option — especially if you want premium performance without the premium price tag.
What tyre it replaces: The Angel GT evolved from the Angel ST, pushing the sport-touring concept further towards true “Gran Turismo” capability — more mileage, improved stability and stronger all-weather performance.
Who is it aimed at: The Angel GT is aimed at road riders who want one tyre to do everything — commuting, touring, weekend blasts and even the occasional spirited ride. It works brilliantly across a wide range of bikes, from middleweight sport-tourers to heavyweight hyper-tourers.
Typically seen on: You’ll commonly see Angel GTs fitted to bikes like the BMW F800GT, Yamaha Tracer models, Kawasaki ZZR1400 and similar road-focused machines.
