September 2023: We’ve just managed to track down some 180/60’s (date code 04/21) and some newer fronts, great value if you need a pair of super sticky tyres for your R6 or similar.
August 2022: Pirelli have stopped making the Rosso Corsa 2 as of late 2022. The replacement is a Rosso 4 Corsa.

For Ducati riders looking for a 180/60-17, Pirelli don’t have any more Rosso Corsa 2s in this size. We are advising customers who want a track-capable fast-road tyre to go for a set of the Conti Race Attack 2s. If you’re a pure road rider, consider the Pirelli Rosso 4 or Metzeler M9RRs (Metzeler are a German firm but owned by Pirelli) – both great choices.

Replacing the much-loved Rosso Corsa, the new Rosso Corsa 2 is a brilliant road and track tyre. Yes it is pretty extreme for the road but once they’re warmed-up they offer superb outright grip. With the RC2s fitted, not much will be able to stay with you on your favourite twisty road.
The Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II is a Hypersport tyre offering riders:
- Fast warm-up times combined with high level of outright grip and excellent agility.
- New tri-compound rear offers maximum levels of grip at the highest angles of lean.
- Claimed 20% increase in tyre life over the original Diablo Rosso Corsa.
- ‘D’ 200/60 ZR17 fitment for Ducati Streetfighter 2020.

“In all we got four 20 minute sessions on the hoops, with the final outing taking place on a wet track. They’d impressed me relentlessly in the dry and that final outing didn’t rain on the parade. They inspired confidence and offered an unexpected capability that made light work of the wet, and allowed you to keep the throttle pinned when crossing the streams running across the track.
