What is it: The Michelin Power Slick 2 is a slick tyre designed for grip, precision and lap-time performance on track. With no tread pattern and a focus on outright performance, it’s built for riders who want to experience some of the highest levels of dry grip Michelin offers.
What tyre it replaces: The Power Slick 2 replaces the Power Slick Evo, delivering improved lap times, consistency and overall performance.
Who is it aimed at: The Power Slick 2 is aimed at experienced trackday riders and racers who demand maximum grip and performance. It’s best suited to riders using tyre warmers and pushing hard on circuit. If you’re in the Inters or below, we’d recommend checking out the Power Cup 2, which also has the advantage of being road legal.
Typically seen on: Mainly seen on litre-class Superbikes heading out in the Advanced group or racing at your local club meet.
Power Slick 2 highlights:Â Michelin 2CT (front) and 2CT+ (rear) compound technology. These tyres are not stiff, they’re easy to work with, with plenty of front-end feel.
The competition: Not quite the stickiest slick that Michelin offers (that accolade goes to the Power Performance Slick), the Power Slick 2 competes with other entry-level slicks like the Dunlop D212 and Metzeler TD Slick in the track and racing segment.

Unlike some other retailers, all our tyres are located in the UK. If it shows as available on our website, then it's in stock. We dispatch 95% of orders within 24 hours and because they're shipped from the UK, you won't have delays or import charges.
