Moto Guzzi V85 TT Tyre Size
The plucky Guzzi adventurer runs a 110/80/19 front tyre and a 150/70/17 rear tyre.
The 110/80 front is a great choice by Moto Guzzi. Some Adv bikes run a 100/90 front but that limits your on-road tyre options. In the 110/80/19 you can run great tyres like the Metzeler Tourance Next 2 and the Michelin Road 6 and Bridgestone T32 as well as a host of proper off-road rubber.
You can click those links to see all the different tyres available in the sizes for this bike. However below we have recommended what we consider to be the best options for the 85.
As motorcycle tyre specialists, accredited by the major manufacturers, we can supply any tyre to you by mail order or you can have them fitted in our London motorcycle workshop.
The Guzzi V85TT runs common Adventure-bike tyre sizes and so you have plenty of choices, whether you want a tyre for Commuting, Trail Riding, Touring or some proper Off-Road.
Moto Guzzi V85 TTÂ History
Launched in 2019 the V85TT is somewhat unique. Yes, there are 100s of Adventure bikes on the market and – sometimes it’s hard to believe this – ones with a sub-1000cc engine are available.
However, the Guzzi was, in our opinion, the first Adventure bike not to take itself too seriously. It’s the antithesis of techno-packed ‘I’m going to Africa, me!’ Adventure bikes.
The V85TT has a great blend of retro-cool styling and Adventure credentials. In fact, the word Adventure is so overused these days in the world of motorcycling, there should a new class called Esplorare (Italian for explore) and the V85 would be at the top.
