What’s the average mileage from a motorcycle tyre?

All motorbikes eat through their tyres at different rates and no rider rides their bike in the same way as anyone else.

There are several factors that affect your tyre’s life:

• The power going through the tyre
• The tyre pressures
• The conditions you’re riding in
• The weight of your bike (and everything that’s on it)

So tyre life is subjective, but in order to settle many a forum fight, we’ve put together a bit of a benchmark based on our experience and customer feedback in the shop. It’s in no way an exact number but it’ll help you set a benchmark.

Sports tyre

Sports Touring Tyre
