These are common motorcycle tyre sizes and so you have plenty of choice, whether you want a tyre for Touring, Trackdays, Fast Road Riding, Budget tyres or High Mileage.
Suzuki GSX-8 History
Suzuki’s first all-new large bike platform since the SV650 in 1999, it joins a fiercely competitive class where differences in usability, performance, value, and amenities are almost imperceptible.
It seemed inevitable that Suzuki would outfit the new platform with full fairings and a more aggressive, track-ready demeanour after they unveiled its bare GSX-8S to the public a few years ago, and – with the GSX-8R – they have done just that.

Suzuki GSX-8 Stock Tyres
The Suzuki GSX-8S and R come on Dunlop Roadsport 2 tyres, these are budget tyres. We don’t understand why but Suzuki and Kawasaki almost always supply their new bikes with woeful tyres.
Suzuki GSX-8 Best Tyres
The stock Dunlops are budget tyres, which don’t bring out the bike’s potential. Of course, we sell motorcycle tyres and so you might just think we’re trying to sell you a new set of rubber but honestly: ditch the OEM tyres as soon as you can. We have had customers return to us with a massive grin on their face once they’ve realised how dire the stock Dunlops are and how much confidence is established with a decent set of tyres.
Sporty Road Tyre options:
These are brilliant tyres to bring out the best in your bike’s handling.
Michelin Pilot Power 2CT – A great Sports tyre on a budget.
Pirelli Rosso 4 – The ‘treat yourself’ option.
Budget Touring / Commuting options:
Great tyres for all conditions and excellent value for money
Premium Touring / Commute options
Le creme de la creme option..

Are your tyre pressures letting you down?
We couldn’t find a tyre pressure gauge that was well-built, easy to get on-and-off the valve without pressure loss and could stand up to day-to-day abuse in our workshop. So we found a manufacturer to build one to our exacting standards.
We’re confident this is the best motorcycle pressure gauge out there. That’s why it comes with a 3-year, no-nonsense, money back guarantee.
Whether you want a digital tyre pressure gauge or a good old-fashioned analogue pressure gauge, we’ve got a gauge for you. Now you can quickly and easily check your pressures, to keep your bike handling well and to ensure you stay safe.
