Is it safe on skin?
Yes, our formula has been dermatologically tested, but as all people are different, you should see what effect it has on you. If you use Vulcanet professionally or for long periods, you may wish to use gloves or barrier cream too prevent dry skin. Always wash hands after use.

Do I need to wash my vehicle first?
No, But, if it makes you happier, before you use Vulcanet for the first time, there’s nothing wrong with giving it a traditional clean and then once it’s dry, use Vulcanet, and you will have it’s full protective properties in place. You will build confidence with Vulcanet the more you use it and will see what it can really do. We’re not in the position of trying to force you to do something that doesn’t feel right, all we say is try it, and you will see the rest for yourself.

Do I really only need 1 cloth to do all the jobs of all my cleaning products?
Yes!

What’s wrong with soap and water?
Nothing, it’s worked for years! BUT, times change, as does technology. And let’s face it, it’s not just soap and water is it? It’s degreaser, shampoo, silicone shine, metal polish, wax, leather cleaner, hosepipes, sponges, cleaning mittens etc etc. This is a true All-In-One, and it comes in one handy tub.

Why don’t you do small packs, like handy wipes come in?
Have you ever had one of those little packs? As soon as you take out one wipe, you make the resalable sticky lid wet, and it doesn’t close again… That’s why, they will dry out, and it will cost your pocket, plain and simple.When you buy a tub from us, we will give you a zip lock pouch for FREE. Then you can refill this as you please and Vulcanet won’t dent your pocket.

Will they dry out?
If you keep them in the tub, with the lid closed no! Not for years!! There’s a reservoir of solution in the bottom of the tub that prevents drying out from regular use, and guards against periods of leaving the lid off.

Why should I use Vulcanet over other waterless systems?
1- Our product cleans AND protects, and unlike others, Vulcanet is safe on Rubber, and can be used on Helmets and Leathers.
2- We use a 3 stage system, A cloth to trap dirt, A solution to do all the cleaning and a microfiber to polymerise the solution to create a protective barrier. The dirt trapped is thrown away with the cloth, and not wedged into the Microfibre.

Why don’t I just use baby wipes or generic cleaning products?
Our wipes are specially constructed to trap dirt inside them. We call them “Dirt Magnets” as the tiny fibres and honeycomb construction pull the dirt particles into the soft cloth. These cloths are then soaked in a premium formula which is specifically designed to remove oil, brake dust, tough dirt, and bugs splats amongst many other things. This formula lifts dirt from the surface and encapsulates it to prevent scratching, and even micro swirls. The Microfibre then polymerises the solution to the surface leaving a protective coating that makes cleaning easier next time, and… repels dirt and water keeping your vehicle looking pristine for longer. Other cleaning products that are not purpose made, or not of the highest quality such as ours, are likely to lead to undesired results, or worse… damage!

How do I use Vulcanet?
Start with the wet cloths from within the tub, use them on the vehicle starting at the top, and working to the grubbier parts, leaving the worst bits to last. Even when the wipe is dirty it will still keep cleaning. As the cloth begins to dry, consider a fresh cloth to avoid pushing particles across the surface. For stubborn bugs and tar, wipe over first and allow to work briefly before rubbing with the wet cloth again to remove from the surface. Once you have been over the surface with the wet cloth, use the microfiber to buff the surface and activate the protective coat.

Does Vulcanet leave a film ?
Of course, it protects the surface. Try this test : Treat half of your machine, run your hand over the untreated part first and then feel the treated part.
The difference will leave you speechless!
Also, you can spray water on both areas and see the difference.

Because of Vulcanet, am I able to go faster ?
Technically speaking…Yes thanks to water repellent and antistatic film you will have an aerodynamic effect… We’re not sure how your speedo would register the effect though.

Does Vulcanet attract flies ?
No… ?

Don’t you think Vulcanet is expensive ?
Vulcanet is the ultimate cleaning product combining the actions of many products together, all in one. Vulcanet is also a premium product meaning it is not “cheap” to produce. Each tub will clean your motorbike up to 40 times or your car a dozen times. Vulcanet is in fact great value.

Can I use another microfiber ?
Yes and no. Yes, because you will have a brilliant effect at the time. But… also No because the design of the microfibre and composition is very specific to get the optimal lasting performance from Vulcanet. 

Can I clean in the sun ?
Yes, use the microfibre immediately to polymerize Vulcanet before the sun evaporates it. See some of our videos on the website.

It seems that the more I clean with Vulcanet the easier it is to clean. Is that right?
It is! The bonus is then you use less Vulcanet after that. Vulcanet coats and protects your surface making it repel dirt and nasties. Your next application of Vulcanet is then working on a surface that has been cared for previously, meaning less effort for you, and the product.

Does Vulcanet avoid the creation of scratches ?
Yes especially micro scratches, we are fanatics and enthusiasts ourselves. We want to look after your machine as if it was our own.

Will Vulcanet cause scratches?
No, Vulcanet is a premium product designed with the ultimate care of your Pride & Joy in mind.

Does Vulcanet removes scratches ?
No

Can we clean with Vulcanet a surface caked with mud?
Yes if you have a lot of money! We advise a traditional rinse or wash to return your pride and joy to some sort of order first.

Can Vulcanet be used on sand covered bodywork / surfaces ?
Yes, you need to carefully apply Vulcanet without rubbing. Vulcanet will wrap around sand particles and capture them in the cells on the wipe. Once the surface is slippery you can rub gently. The fibres will wrap around the particles and the cleaning solution will turn the particles into a soft globule.
