Description
Protector 22mm Titan *Short-Link* Sold Secure Diamond-rated chain.
This will only work with certain locks and ground anchors, so please be aware.
Due to the shorter links, the chain ends cannot be ‘inter-linked’ and so have to be secured with a lock through each link. The Squire D16 Max anti-angle-grinder D-lock fits through this chain, as do most other D-locks.
Sold Secure Motorcycle Diamond (2023). Approx 18kg for a 1.5m length (chain is approx 12kg/m).
Please beware that this is an extremely heavy duty chain and it is suitable for only the most severe security applications. It is literally twice the weight of our 19mm chain, and that is already heavy duty! Please do not order this unless you are confident that you really need such an extreme chain, and that you are going to be able to handle it and fit it through whatever item(s) you need to secure. It is a beast! We reserve the right to make a restocking charge if you order it and then need to return it.
Our 22mm Titan chain (other versions) were deemed top of the tree according to Bennetts Insurance.
Note that this is a short-link chain so its links can’t be interlocked in the same way as our other Protector chains.
Beware: This chain will only fit very few ground anchors!
The 19mm and smaller chains fit almost all of the motorcycle ground anchors we sell, but the 22mm will only fit anchors like the Vector Maxi Ground Anchor.

Alternatives
We also stock the 16mm Pragmasis motorcycle security chain and the larger 19mm Pragmasis security chain and the Pragmasis RoundLock which is an excellent padlock but it won’t fit this 22mm chain. However it does double as a standalone disc lock.

Choosing your length
Please use some rope to help you gauge what length you need. As a guide, the 1.2m length will fit around the rear wheel of a motorcycle with a 180-section tyre, but there isn’t a great geal of length left over. So, if you want to run this up to a ground anchor, please carefully check your dimensions.
