What is it: The Motoz Tractionator RallZ is the most off-road-focused adventure tyre in the Motoz range. Built with knobby, desert-derived tread DNA, it leans heavily toward dirt capability while still offering usable on-road manners.
What tyre it replaces: The RallZ sits above the Tractionator Adventure in Motoz’s line-up, offering more aggressive off-road traction for riders who want serious dirt performance.
Who is it aimed at: This is aimed squarely at adventure riders who spend a large portion of their time off-road — tackling mud, sand, heavy trails, desert tracks and technical terrain — but still need to cover road sections between trails.
Typically seen on: While they’re available in sizes to fit sub-400cc Adventure and Trail bikes, we mainly sell these in sizes to fit the bigger Adventure bikes, for example the KTM Adventure bikes, BMW R1250GS and Yamaha Tenere 700.
RallZ highlights: 80% off-road / 20% road bias for serious dirt performance. Aggressive knobbly tread with self-cleaning and self-sharpening blocks for sustained bite. Silica-hybrid compound tuned for grip on mud, loose surfaces and varied terrain. Reasonable road manners given the deep tread, with predictable handling at speed.
Technical tips: R rated ones are tube tyre fitment. The R rated 90/90-21 is much narrower that the Q tubeless fitment, it can fit a 1.6 to 1.85 rim unlike the Q which sits on a 2.15 to 2.50 perfectly. The tubeless ones will need a lot of lube and some patience to fit as the sidewalls are very stiff.
RallZ tyre sizes: Available in a range of tube-type and tubeless fitments across common adventure wheel sizes (e.g., 21″/19″/18″) to suit both front and rear applications.
A more road-focused option: If you ride mostly on tarmac with occasional trails, a tyre like the Tractionator GPS will offer more road-going comfort while maintaining light trail performance.
The competition: The RallZ competes with aggressive 80/20 adventure tyres such as the Bridgestone AX41, Metzeler Karoo 4 and Mitas E07 in the extreme off-road adventure segment.

The Tractionator Rall Z tyre is Motoz answer to the big bike rider who wants even more extreme offroad performance than their already stellar Tractionator Adventure Tyre.
Extensive testing in the Australian wilderness by dozens of riders on this years KTM Adventure Rally have proved the Rall Z to offer incredible dirt performance, with good manners on the tarmac, with 2/3 to 3/4 the life of the Tractionator Adventure.
