The HY85S is a lithium motorcycle battery supplied as standard on some models of Honda and KTM, including the Honda CRF250, CRF450 and new Fireblade.
The Honda part numbers are 31500MKED61 and 31500MKEA61 and they are made by Eliiy. The RRP on this battery is a staggering £415.
This HY85S model for sale here is exactly the same fitment but also triple the cranking power. Skyrich is a premium manufacturer and series supplier for well-known manufacturers such as KTM, Ducati and Honda. These lithium-ion batteries are characterized by a heat-resistant, waterproof nylon housing and improved, stronger terminal connections. LITHIUM BATTERY BENEFITS
Lithium motorcycle batteries have just 10% of the self-discharge rate of a lead-acid battery, meaning you can leave it for months and the battery won’t die. Every JMT lithium battery we sell comes with a built-in battery condition indicator. With a single button press you can check the charge level of the battery.
JMT lithium-ion motorbike batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and use the lithium-polymer process in their manufacture. This means that they will not catch fire or explode in normal operation, which can happen with the cheap, low-quality lithium batteries which are less stable.
- Weighs just 0.4kg, compared to 2.423kg for a Yuasa lead-acid battery

CHARGING
Please note that only suitable chargers may be used for charging. We recommend this NOCO Genius 1 battery charger which charges both normal and lithium batteries.

Under no circumstances should chargers be used which attempt to desulphate deep-discharged batteries under 10 volts with a voltage of more than 14.9 volts before they begin the actual charge. The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 volts must never be exceeded. Recommended charging current 1A and maximum charging current 12A.
