Description
The Heidenau K60 Scout has developed a cult following from Adventure-travellers who want to cover long distances and don’t want to worry about finding an Adventure tyre supplier in Timbuktu. While these aren’t the absolute grippiest of tyres out there, they more than make up for it in endurance. If you’re riding a Yamaha XR650 and not a Multistrada V4S, these are the adventure-touring tyres for you.
Long distance Adventure tyre
There is a lot of natural rubber used in Heidenau’s compound. With its strong belted structure and naturally robust material, this tyre is among the most reliable and long-lasting options for long-distance riders.
Tread pattern
Why do the different sizes have different tread patterns? New design issues were brought about by a new compound. At the Scout’s inception, Heidenau seized the chance to customise the design to best fit the intended use. Tyres now look different for different bikes while still providing the optimum performance thanks to consumer feedback and thousands of miles of testing.
The Heidenau K60 Scout is an On & Off-Road tyre offering riders:

- M + S RATED, a legal requirement in some countries for use during winter months.

Durability, It’s about the Rubber
Heidenau’s compound uses a high natural rubber content, and there’s a lot on there. This naturally resilient compound, combined with sturdy Belted construction, makes for one of the most trusted, longest lasting tires available to long distance travelers.
Tread design
Most asked question, why do different sizes look different? A new compound created new challenges in design. Heidenau took the opportunity at the inception of the Scout, to tailor the design to best suit the application. Incorporating feedback from customers and countless miles of testing, this resulted in tires looking different for the different bikes, but insuring the best performance.
Fitment
Found in most common Enduro sizes for most manufactures as either a K60 or a K60 Scout. Every Scout is a K60, Not every K60 is a scout.

We use DHL for all of our tyre orders. Delivery takes between one and four working days. We use Royal Mail for our non-tyre orders. We rely on our delivery partners and enjoy a very high success rate on deliveries.
ALL TYRES HELD IN STOCK
Unlike some other retailers, all our tyres are located in the UK. If it shows as available on our website, then it's in stock. We dispatch 95% of orders within 24 hours and because they're shipped from the UK, you won't have delays or import charges.
