When Suzuki designed the Hayabusa they needed a tyre that could cope with all the abuse that could be dished out on it. Bridgestone went away and came up with the BT015 M fitment, it has been the original fitment right up till 2018 when Suzuki stopped its production.

What is it: The Bridgestone BT-015 is a high-performance sport tyre originally developed as OEM fitment for the Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa. Built to handle huge power and high speeds, it delivers strong grip, stability and precise handling for fast road riding.
What tyre it replaces: The BT-015 effectively replaced the BT-014 but the 015 was developed as a premium tyre specifically for the Hayabusa, which, at the time, was paving the way for Hypersport bikes.
Who is it aimed at: The BT-015 is aimed at riders of powerful road bikes who want a sporty tyre with dependable grip and stability, particularly at higher speeds. It’s also a great option if you ride a Japanese Sportsbike or Sports Tourer and want a proven, well-matched tyre for your bike.
Typically seen on: Originally fitted to the Hayabusa, the BT-015 can also be used on a wide range of Japanese sport and sport-touring bikes as it’s only available in a 190/50-17 rear, which is a common fitment for large-capacity Japanese motorcycles.

The competition: The BT-015 competes with the likes of the Pirelli Angel GT, Continental Sport Attack 2 and Metzeler M7RR – all are very good real-world Sports tyres.
