New for 2018 the Bridgestone A41 replaced the A40. With a huge choice of sizes and OE fitments available in sizes suitable for bikes as diverse as the 3 wheeled Yamaha Niken to Ducati's Scrambler with its unusual 18" front fitment along with all the common Adventure sizes. A great road/trail tyre.

Description
Chosen by BMW as the OE fitment for the R1250GS, that just about sums up the A41. It’s an Adventure bike tyre but for riders who ride predominantly on the road. It can handle light off road and green lanes but for anything more extreme, you’ll want a bit more tread block to dig into the dirt. However on the road, the A41 has great manners, it’s quiet, comfortable and grips well in all conditions. In short it’s a great tyre that’ll suit any adventure bike rider looking for a good road tyre with off-road looks.

Both tyres offered a super planted feel along high-speed straights and especially so on long sweepers and high octane hairpins.
The T31s are the obvious choice if you crave a bit of ‘sport’ in your touring, with both the front and rear offering Velcro-like grip even when pushing extremely hard into corners.
Despite their 90/10 rating for road/off-road, the A41 surprised quite a few riders with the combined competence of grip, stability, confidence and control during the off-road sections. Equally so on the tarmac.

“With an off-road biased front and long-travel suspension it’s always a challenge for a tyre to deliver feedback to the rider. That being said, Bridgestone have succeeded in creating both feel and grip and I was hugely impressed. There was sufficient feedback to really enjoy the KTM and I had similar results on the Africa Twin.

“To give them a proper road test, we fitted A41s across all the test bikes, with sizes ranging from the Multistrada’s 120/70-17 front and 190/55-17 rear to the others’ 120/70-19 fronts and 170/60-17 rears.
The result is impressive. In torrential rain and on cold roads the Bridgestones are steady and reassuring, but when conditions become mixed, they come into their own, delivering instant confidence. All the riders were impressed and Nick drew immediate comparisons with the Michelin Anakee 3s on his GSA saying the A41’s feel more inspiring from cold.
