Honda CBR125R Tyre Size
The CBR125R ran two different tyre sizes over its life. The 2004 to 2011 model runs a 80/90/17 front tyre and a 100/80/17 rear tyre. While the later model which ran from 2012 to 2017 ran a 100/80/17 front tyre and a 130/70/17 rear tyre.

These are common motorcycle tyre sizes and so you have plenty of choice, whether you want a tyre for Sporty Road Riding, Budget tyres or High Mileage commuter tyres.
Honda CBR125R History
Introduced in 2004, the CBR125R took over from Honda’s NSR125. Unlike the NSR, the CBR is a 4-stroke and produces less power than the earlier two-stroke NSR125. The original bike was made to look (a bit) like a Honda CBR600 F4i. The later face-lifted model was made to look (slightly) like a CBR600RR and the last version, launched in 2011 took some styling cues from the (pretty ugly) VFR1200F.

Honda CBR125R Stock Tyres
The CBR125R came fitted with IRC RX01R tyres as standard. These are pretty poor tyres so if they’re still fitted to yours, change them as soon as possible.
Honda CBR125R Best Tyres
You can get loads of good tyres for the CBR125 but we rate a couple them highly: Metzeler Sportec Street or if money is tight, the Kenda K711 is a great option.
Honda CBR125R Tyre Pressures
You can find your motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressures in your owner’s handbook. You’ll also find a tyre pressure chart sticker on the swingarm.
If you have no idea what pressures to run, this is our general rule:
Scooter: F 30psi, R 30psi
Normal Motorcycle: F 36psi, R 42psi
Big Tourer: F 42psi, R 42psi
125cc Bike: F 33psi, R 36psi
