Imperial sizes were widely used on motorcycle tyres back in the day but they still appear on some motorcycles today. Metric sizes are obviously more common now but you can run imperial sizes on a modern bike or metric sizes on a classic bike – or a mix of both.
The conversion chart below shows the close conversion of metric to imperial sizes.
