The simple and quick answer is no.
In the UK, a motorcycle tyre has to have a tread depth of 1mm across three-quarters of the width of the tread pattern. The tread must also be visible on the remaining quarter of the tyre. For motorcycles up to 50cc the law states that the original tread pattern’s grooves must be clearly visible.
If you want to run a road-legal motorcycle tyre that looks (and performs) similar to a slick, then you have a couple of options.
The first is the Michelin Power Cup 2 and the second is the Continental Race Attack 2.
Both (unbelievably!) road legal. Both need to be carefully warmed-up on the road
