Moto Morini X-CAPE Tyre Size
The X-CAPE runs a 110/80/19 front tyre and a 150/70/17 rear tyre.
The 110/80 front is a great choice by Moto Morini. Some Adv bikes run a 100/90 front but that limits your on-road tyre options.Â
You can click those links to see all the different tyres available in the sizes for this bike. However below we have recommended what we consider to be the best options.
We’re approved by all the major motorcycle tyre manufacturers. We can supply tyres to you by mail order or fit them in our London motorcycle servicing centre.
X-CAPEÂ History
Launched in 2022 the X-CAPE is one of only two bikes in the Ch-Italian manufacturer’s line-up. If you were only going to produce two bikes, I guess it makes sense to produce a middleweight Adventure bike, as the market is popular. However, it’s also packed with strong rivals such as the Tenere 700 and Tuareg 660.
While the Moto Morini is basic, it beats almost all the rivals on price; it’s almost £4,000 cheaper than the Aprilia.
So if you’re not bothered about riding modes or traction control and you want an Adventure-bike that has a quirky style and doesn’t take itself too seriously, the X-CAPE is a good contender.
The only downside is the fact that – at the time of writing – there are only 3 Moto Morini dealers in the UK. A Russian-roulette approach to spares availability might not appeal to everyone.
Moto Morini X-CAPEÂ Stock Tyres
The stock tyres on the Moto Morini X-CAPE are Pirelli Scorpion Rally STRs. These are very good tyres, however, they’re neither the best pure-road tyre nor the best off-road tyre.Â
Moto Morini X-CAPE Best Tyres
Below are our recommendations for the best tyres for the little Ch-Italian bike. This is based on what is being fitted to middleweight Adventure bikes with the same tyre sizes.

X-CAPEÂ Tyre Pressures
You can find your motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressures in your owner’s handbook. You’ll also find a tyre pressure chart sticker on the swingarm.
If you have no idea what pressures to run, this is our general rule:
Scooter: F 30psi, R 30psi
Normal Motorcycle: F 36psi, R 42psi
Big Tourer: F 42psi, R 42psi
125cc Bike: F 33psi, R 36psi
You should always check your tyre pressures when the tyres are cold. Check out our range of motorcycle tyre pressure gauges here.
