Honda NT1100Â Tyre Size
Honda’s accomplished tourer runs the most common tyre combination, meaning you can kit this bike out with pretty much any tyre you like. Obviously most owners will want to fit a road-going tyre but you could fit this beast with track-spec rubber to surprise a few sportsbike riders or you could fit it with knobblies and head off down the green lanes!
The NT1100runs a 120/70-17 front tyre and a 180/55/17 rear tyre.Â

Honda NT1100Â History
Launched in 2022 the NT1100, the NT1100 is based around the excellent platform of the Africa Twin. In fact, ditch the AT’s 21″ and 18″ wheels for 17″ road-going versions, use lower suspension and added fairing and you’ve pretty much got the NT1100.
No it’s not going to set the world on fire and no you won’t look like a continent-crossing adventurer on an NT1100 like you might on the Africa Twin but the NT is one of the best ways to get from A to B on any paved road.

Honda NT1100Â Stock Tyres
The stock tyres on the Honda NT1100 are the excellent Metzeler Roadtec 01 SEs. They are pretty much the go-to tyre for sports-touring but there are other tyres you can explore.
Honda NT1100Â Best Tyres
The OEM Metzelers are a very good choice but they face stiff competition in the touring sector. If you want a tyre with more outright grip for fast A-road blasts, check out the options below.
Touring:
The Roadtec 01s are great but if you prefer a different brand, these are the class leaders.
Pirelli Angel GT (good budget choice)
Fast Road:
You won’t get as good a return in terms of mileage but if you want outright grip, these are the tyres for you.
Honda NT1100Â Tyre Pressures
You can find your motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressures in your owner’s handbook. You’ll also find a tyre pressure chart sticker on the swingarm.
If you have no idea what pressures to run, this is our general rule:
Scooter: F 30psi, R 30psi
Normal Motorcycle: F 36psi, R 42psi
Big Tourer: F 42psi, R 42psi
125cc Bike: F 33psi, R 36psi
