BMW F800GS Tyre Size
The 798cc BMW F800GS runs a 90/90/21 front tyre and a 150/70/17 rear tyre. You can click those links to see all the different tyre options for this bike. BMW F800GS History
Launched in 2008 the F800GS has been a rip-roaring success for BMW. Largely overshadowed by its bigger brother the R1200GS the 800 has never topped the sales charts but it has always been up there. The parallel-twin 798cc motor is the heart of what makes the 800 so good. It delivers a healthy 80bhp, loads of torque ad it’s in a more manageable package. then it’s bigger brother. Arguably the F800GSA (the Adventure model) is the best off-road bike in BMW’s range.
After a solid 10 years with barely any modifications to the basic recipe, BMW replaced the F800GS with an F850GS in 2018.
F800GS Stock Tyres
The F800GS came with the Metzeler Tourance as standard. The OEM Metzeler is a very mild tyre that does a bit of everything reasonably well. However if you want to take your GS in a particular direction, there are loads of great options.

BMW F800GS Tyre Pressures
You can find your motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressures in your owner’s handbook. You’ll also find a tyre pressure chart sticker on the swingarm.
If you have no idea what pressures to run, this is our general rule:
Scooter: F 30psi, R 30psi
Normal Motorcycle: F 36psi, R 42psi
Big Tourer: F 42psi, R 42psi
125cc Bike: F 33psi, R 36psi
