The Honda CBR600RR runs a 120/70/17 front tyre and a 180/55/17 rear tyre. You can click those links to see all the different tyre options for this bike. Honda CBR600RR History
I can remember the first time I saw a CBR600RR. It was 2003 and I was working at a photographic studio, I walked in and there, under the spotlights was a brand new RR. It looked like Honda’s MotoGP bike but with headlights. To this day, the original RR has barely aged; it still looks fresh.
Honda pulled out all the stops for this bike, in the way that only Honda really does and indeed can. The fact that so many are still around today, is a testament to the RR’s build quality.
2003: The original Honda CBR600RR model launched
2005: Honda updates the bike with USD forks, shaves 5kg off the weight, adds radial brakes and tweaks the suspension.
2007: The CBR600RR is relaunched and is now the lightest bike in its class.
2009: More tweaks to the engine to improve midrange and smoother power delivery, C-ABS version available.
2013: Honda launch a radically different CBR600RR with revised fairing, engine internals, wheels and chassis.

Honda CBR600RR Stock Tyres
Over the years the CBR600RR has come on a wide range of OEM tyres, including Bridgestone BT-012 on the 2003 model, and Dunlop Sportmax on the 2018 model. Generally speaking they’re never supplied on great tyres and most owners swap them out well before they’re worn them out.

Honda CBR600RR Tyre Pressures
You can find your motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressures in your owner’s handbook. You’ll also find a tyre pressure chart sticker on the swingarm.
If you have no idea what pressures to run, this is our general rule:
Scooter: F 30psi, R 30psi
Normal Motorcycle: F 36psi, R 42psi
Big Tourer: F 42psi, R 42psi
125cc Bike: F 33psi, R 36psi
