Ducati Multistrada 950 and V2 Tyre Sizes
This guide covers every Ducati Multistrada 950 and Multistrada V2 model, including the latest 2025-on motorcycles, which all use the same 120/70ZR19 front and 170/60ZR17 rear tyre sizes.
Ducati’s baby Adventure bike runs a 120/70/19 front tyre and a 170/60/17 rear tyre. That’s the same tyre sizes as the BMW R1200GS and R1250GS. So it’s off to a good start.
You can click those links to see all the different tyres available in the sizes for this bike. However below we have recommended what we consider to be the best options for the Multistrada 950 and the newer V2 models
Here at Two Tyres, we are motorcycle tyre specialists, with direct accounts with all the major manufacturers. We can supply any tyre to you by mail order or you can have them fitted in our London motorcycle workshop.
The Mini Multi runs common Adventure-bike tyre sizes and so you have plenty of choices, whether you want a tyre for Commuting, Trail Riding, Touring or some proper Off-Roading.
Ducati Multistrada 950 & V2 History
Introduced in 2017, the Multistrada 950 sat at the bottom of Ducati’s adventure bike range, offering much of the versatility of the larger Multistrada 1200 in a lighter, more affordable package.
Powered by the 937cc Testastretta engine shared with the Hypermotard 939, it quickly earned a reputation as one of the best all-round adventure bikes on the market.
In 2022, Ducati renamed the bike the Multistrada V2, although it continued to use the same 937cc engine with only minor updates. The biggest change arrived in 2025 when Ducati launched an all-new Multistrada V2 featuring a completely new 890cc V2 engine, a lighter chassis and updated electronics.
Despite the extensive redesign, Ducati retained the familiar 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination, so tyre sizes remain unchanged across the generations.
Ducati Multistrada 950 & V2 Stock Tyres
The stock tyres on the Multi 950 and the new V2 are the excellent Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2Â – which are so sticky, you could take them on track!

We built a pressure gauge we wanted to use ourselves
After years of using tyre pressure gauges that were inaccurate, poorly made or awkward to fit without losing pressure, we decided enough was enough.
We worked with a manufacturer to produce a motorcycle tyre pressure gauge that met our own workshop standards. The result is a gauge that’s accurate. It’s even been featured in RiDE magazine.
We’re so confident in its quality that every gauge comes with a 3-year, no-nonsense money-back guarantee.
Whether you prefer the instant accuracy of a digital tyre pressure gauge or the simplicity of a traditional analogue gauge, we’ve got the perfect tool for the job.
Correct tyre pressures are the cheapest performance upgrade you can make. They improve grip, handling, tyre life and fuel economy—and they take less than a minute to check.
