KTM SuperDuke 1290 GT Tyre Size
The SuperDuke GT has run the same tyre size since its launch in 2016 to the present day. It runs a 120/70/17 front tyre and a 190/55/17 rear tyre.

Here at Two Tyres we specialise in motorcycle tyres and we’re a manufacturer-approved fitting centre. We can supply any tyre to you by mail order or you can have them fitted in our London motorcycle workshop.
Most SuperDuke GT owners use their bike for commuting and touring. So it makes sense to fit a quality tyre that’ll warm up quickly, offer plenty of edge grip and return good mileage.
The SDGT tyre sizes are common and so you have plenty of choice, whether you want a tyre for Commuting, Fast Road Riding or that touring trip to Europe.
KTM SuperDuke 1290 GTÂ History
Launched in 2016 the Superduke GT took the already monstrous SuperDuke platform and added a few refinements to give it more mile-munching capability. A larger screen, factory panniers and 23-litre fuel tank will help you blast into the depths of France in a day and arrive ready to hit the town.
Revised in 2019 to offer a TFT screen, LED lights, a quick shifter/blipper and titanium valves helped the bike rev-harder and produce more power. KTM cynics would argue that the additional tech is just more things that’ll go wrong.
