Ducati Streetfighter Tyre Size
As you would expect, the brutal Ducati Streetfighter needs a lot of rubber on the road. It runs a 120/70/17 front tyre and a 200/60/17 rear tyre.
You can click those links to see all the different tyre options for this bike however below we have listed our recommended picks.
As motorcycle tyre specialists, accredited by the major manufacturers, we can supply any tyre to you by mail order or you can have them fitted in our London motorcycle workshop.
Most Streetfighter V4 use their bike for weekend thrills but we have one customer who commutes on his and a few that use theirs for track days. So it makes sense to fit a quality tyre that’ll warm up quickly, offer plenty of edge grip and return good mileage.
Ducati Streetfighter History
Launched n 2020 the Streetfighter V4 and V4S is essentially a stripped-down Panigale V4. Brutal power will assault your senses and an even more brutal price tag will beat up your wallet. The Streetfighter V4 is a bike lusted after by the many but owned by the few.

Ducati Streetfighter Best Tyres
Typically Streetfighter V4 and V4S models are weekend toys but we do have customers who use them to commute and some who use them as their main track bike.
Streetfighter V4 190/55 tyre
One of the most common questions we’re asked is whether you can run a 190/55 rear tyre. The answer is yes. The Wet mode on the bike is setup to run a 190/55 as standard. We spoke to Rick Hackett from JHP Ducati Coventry, a guru on all things Ducati. Rick told us that running a 190/55 will not make any difference to the bike’s power delivery or traction control, no matter what mode you are in. By running the 190/55 you open up so many more tyre options, so it’s worth considering.
Whatever you use your Ducati for, here are our recommended tyre options:
190/55 Road Riding
190/55 Fast Road / Track
200/60 Road
Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V4
200/60 Track
Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC V4
Metzeler Racetec RR Slick (not road legal)
