Aprilia Tuono V4 History
Taking over from the original Tuono 100, which was a twin-cylinder, the V4 engined Tuono was introduced in 2011 and was powered by a 999cc v4 engine with a claimed 170bhp at the crank. The reality was a strong 150bhp at the rear wheel. The bike was heavily updated in 2013 prior to the new 1077cc 1100 Tuono which was introduced in 2018.
The Tuono 1100 is available in two versions, the V4 1100RR and the V4 1100 Factory. Both have Aprilia’s amazing APRC electronics package but the Factory has lightweight wheels, top-spec Brembo brakes, and there’s Ohlins Semi-active suspension too.
