Dunlop produced the world’s first pneumatic tyre, back in 1888. Dunlop first produced tyres for bicycles but the demand soon saw them creating tyres for all tyres of vehicles, especially motorcycles.
Over 130 years have passed since Dunlop created the ‘modern’ tyre and today Dunlop are synonymous with performance, especially in motorcycle racing circles.
Dunlop are extremely successful in road racing circles and they’re also the tyre supplier to the Moto2 and Moto3 championships.
But they’re not just about racing. Dunlop have been the original equipment tyre for Harley Davidson motorcycles for almost 40 years. Their whitewall motorcycle tyre was first introduced in 1992 but these days, while Dunlop’s classic motorcycle and cruiser tyres still have that authentic look, they benefit from Dunlop’s racing technology to deliver secure handling and reliable performance in all conditions.
Dunlop produce motorcycle tyres for every type of two wheeler, from Maxi-Scooters to Adventure bikes. They also make some pretty interesting tyres, like the TT100 GP Radial, a grippy road tyre that has a look of yesteryear; ideal for cafe racers and modern retros.
