We stock 3 types of motorcycle battery:
Yuasa Sealed Lead Acid: Yuasa is the most well-known battery brand and a common standard fitment on new bikes. These sealed lead acid batteries are maintenance free and supplied ready to go, meaning no messing around with acid packs.
JMT Gel Batteries: Gel batteries, also known as AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) are a standard motorcycle battery but the electrolyte is held in a gel form, so there’s no sloshing acid. Again these batteries are maintenance free. The reason Gel batteries are popular is that they withstand vibration well. So for big V-twins and thumpers, your AGM battery may last longer than a lead-acid.
Lithium Motorcycle Batteries: These batteries use lithium-ion and weigh around a third of a conventional battery. A typical weight saving is around 3kg but for some models you’ll save over 5kg! Motorcycle Battery Chargers
We sell a wide range of motorcycle battery chargers that are car and bike capable. This great NOCO Genius 1 charger is a popular choice and charges all types of battery, including lithium.
Every one of our 12v motorcycle batteries are pre-filled and ready to be fitted. You just have to remove and replace the old one and you’re ready to go. Both our Gel motorcycle batteries and our AGM (lead-acid) motorcycle batteries are maintenance free – you don’t have to mess around with acid, distilled water or ever have to top the battery up.
We can also supply and fit these batteries in our London motorcycle workshop.
