About JMT lithium batteries

Unlike some motorcycle battery brands, JMT batteries are not made in the Far East. They are manufactured in Germany and subject to rigorous testing and strict quality control. They are the OE fitment for some motorcycle manufacturers, including KTM and all of our JMT batteries come with a 24-month warranty.
Lithium motorcycle batteries have just 10% of the self-discharge rate of a lead-acid battery, meaning you can leave it for months and the battery won’t die. Every JMT lithium battery we sell comes with a built-in battery condition indicator. With a single button press you can check the charge level of the battery.
JMT lithium-ion motorbike batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and use the lithium-polymer process in their manufacture. This means that they will not catch fire or explode in normal operation, which can happen with the cheap, low-quality lithium batteries which are less stable.

CHARGING
Please note that only suitable chargers may be used for charging. We recommend Provacel Hypercharge battery charger which charges both normal and lithium batteries.

Under no circumstances should chargers be used which attempt to de-sulphate deep-discharged batteries under 10 volts with a voltage of more than 14.9 volts before they begin the actual charge. The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 volts must never be exceeded. Recommended charging current 1A and maximum charging current 12A.
