PHANTOM™ SPORTSCOMP RS combines the vintage fascinating look & feel of the PHANTOM™ SPORTSCOMP renowned tread pattern with the racing performances of DIABLO™ SUPERCORSA structures and compounds. Street legal Racing tyre for Classic and Post Classic 18” fitments. “Easy to use”: tyre warmers not needed. Excellent performance also in wet conditions. Advised for Track-use.
The Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS is a Classic Race tyre offering riders:
- Fast warming compound for racing without tyre warmers.
- High levels of resistance to cold tearing.
- Race-derived profiles for sharper handling.
Tread Pattern
At the first sight, PHANTOM™ SPORTSCOMP RS tread design recalls to the memory the old glory of Pirelli PHANTOM. For a closer look, the differences immediately spring to mind: the PHANTOM™ SPORTSCOMP RS stands out from the previous version for the less aggressive and a smoother tread pattern design, differentiated for front and rear tyre.
Contour
PHANTOM™ SPORTSCOMP RS features race-oriented profiles derived by Pirelli Superbike technology. In order to better suit the modern needs of track riding, Pirelli adopted design and manufacturing technologies, which aim to obtain a sharper profile: footprint varies by lean angle. The result is great handling coupled with a broad ledge for lateral grip. Only the 0° radial structure with 90° Rayon plies ensures the right stiffness distribution form shoulder to crown, granting and at the same time high speed stability. Thanks to the combined design of front and rear tyre profiles, PHANTOM™ SPORTSCOMPS RS enables improved precision and feeling throughout the whole cornering process:
• Easier corner approach
• Enhanced line holding
• Improved potential for greater acceleration on corner exit.
Tyre Pressures
For road use, PIRELLI recommends to inflate tyres at the pressure level prescribed by the motorcycle manufacturer. For track use only, PIRELLI recommends pressures as reported in the table below:

ALL TYRES HELD IN STOCK
Unlike some other retailers, all our tyres are located in the UK. If it shows as available on our website, then it's in stock. We dispatch 95% of orders within 24 hours and because they're shipped from the UK, you won't have delays or import charges.
