Motorcycle tank grip made specifically for the Kawasaki ZX-6R 2019 to 2024 models. These Zas tank grips are made of high density and ultra-grip foam. They have been developed in conjunction with teams from the Spanish CIV and World Endurance championship. They are race-proven and are used by top race teams around the world.
Tank grips reduce fatigue and improve your bike feel and control. By allowing you to grip the tank with your thighs, you can decrease your grip on the bars, allowing the bike to move underneath you, reducing arm pump and improving feel. Tank grips are especially beneficial under heavy braking and during corner exit, allowing you to control your body position and maintain the stability of your bike. More feel, less fatigue, more confidence.
Unlike some other tank grip protectors, you won’t feel any uncomfortable bobbles through your leathers like you can with the ‘bathmat’ style tank grips, nor will you damage your suit as these aren’t the ‘sandpaper’ design of some other tank grips. The Zas one-piece design has a larger coverage area than most tank grip pads, meaning these also double as a tank pad, preventing you from scratching your tank with the zip and fasteners on your suit.

Application and guidelines: Zas Racing tank grips have been developed with the race track in mind. However they can also be used on road bikes. They have good abrasion resistance, however , like with any tank grip product; they will prematurely wear if they are being rubbed by hard parts, for example knee slider velcro or plastic armour.
The installation must be done with the fuel tank clean, degreased and dry.
We recommend you size up your motorcycle tank grip before fitting it. You can use a marker pen on your motorcycle tank to give you a visual guide as to where to mount. We advise you start by fitting the grip in the centra of the tank and then applying the grip to the outer edges of each side of the tank. Once you have applied your tank grip, maintain pressure, spreading your hands from the centre to the outer edges to ensure a good fit and to chase out any bubbles from under the tank grip.
If you need to remove the grip from the tank, you can break down the adhesive with an alcohol spray. Leave the alcohol to soak for one minute before peeling off the edge to expose the underside, then apply more alcohol to the exposed surface and peel the tank grip away. Any remaining residue can be removed with a cloth soaked in alcohol.
