We rate this alarmed disc lock as it’s chunky but at the same time portable. The loud alarm will deter chancers before things get serious. The lock can also be used with pretty much any security chain, meaning you can use it as a padlock with a chunky chain or use it as a disc lock. You can enable or disable the alarm by swapping the shackle around. Clever!
Oxford says:
The Oxford Boss Alarm has been independently tested and approved by: Sold Secure (Gold standard), SBSC, Classe SRA and FG.
As well as being an extremely secure lock, it comes with an ear-splittingly loud 100dB alarm which is triggered by movement sensors; you can also lock it up without setting the alarm.
A key replacement service is available so that if you are unfortunate enough to lose all your keys a new one can be made up. Just remember to take note of your key number and keep this in a safe place.
