Description
The Anlas Capra X Rally is a long distance rally tyre which offers riders:
- Durable tyre developed for the most demanding long-distance rally events.
- Hard wearing, durable compound offering greater resistance to tearing on rocky terrain.
- Optimal block spacing for grip across a wide variety of terrain.
- As used in the 2019 Gibraltar Race by Mark Kinnard & Africa Eco Race by Franco Pico.
- Can also be combined with the new 90/100-21 Capra EXT.
- M + S RATED.

Moto Excape Test The Capra X Rally
Introduced earlier this year, and now available in the UK, the new Capra X Rally has been designed for Rally Raid events, and tested at the highest levels by riders in the 2019 Africa Eco Race and Gibraltar Race.
Recently the team behind Italian website Moto Excape headed to the beautiful Val di Susa near Turin on the Honda CRF 250 Rally, where they gave the tyres a thorough test on some difficult alpine routes.
Paired with a Capra X front tyre (with Capra EXT enduro also available depending on your type of riding) the group headed deep into the mountains of the Piedmont region, dropping the pressure once they finally made it to the trails.
The rider reports that the tyres immediately respond well to the dusty tracks, offering good grip and plenty of predictable feedback if they start to break away, to make for a controllable ride:
“We push deeper and deeper and do it with real confidence, feeling the thrust of the rear end that bites constantly and constantly.”
Even when the trails become more technical, traction is never in question and they continue to climb on gravel, stones and cobblestones at a respectable pace. It also performed well when tested in mud, and was even ridden on some soft snow at the summit of a 3,000+ metre mountain.

We can conclude that the Anlas Capra X-Rally is an excellent tyre to take into consideration, not only for sand and real raids, where there are so many kilometers to cover, but also for those who can often go off-road (preferably on dry surfaces) while having to make some stretches of asphalt each time. Speaking of motorbike tourism, it can be an excellent travel companion for those who have in mind places like Corsica or Sardinia where off-roading really deserves a lot, from the mountains to the most remote beaches, or for the beautiful adventure touring events like the HAT Series , the Umbria Rally , the Swank Rally or the Crete of Siena.”
