Replacing the original Scorpion in 2015 the Pirelli Scorpion Trail II comes with dual compound rear giving great mileage. Nice steering and turn in make this a good choice if you enjoy 'getting it over'. BMW, KTM and Ducati all have bikes using this one as an original fitment.

Description
Here at Two Tyres we test as many tyres as we can, so we can give a real-world opinion on them. We spent a day riding a BMW R1250GS on a variety of Pirelli and Metzeler’s tyres, to see what each one feels like. We tested 7 different tyres on the GS and for us, the Scorpion Trail 2 was the best on the road, alongside the Angel GT2. The Trail 2 edges out the GT2 purely down to the fact it looks more suited to the GS. It brings out the best of the bike’s handling, is comfortable and quiet and has superb, precise grip.
If you’re an Adventure-bike rider, you ride predominantly on the road and you like a bit of twisty road frolics, this is the tyre for you.
The Pirelli Scorpion Trail II is an Adventure Touring tyre offering riders:
- Improvements in wet weather handling for a more secure feel in poor weather conditions.
- Greater mileage yields when compared with the original Scorpion Trail.
- More consistent performance throughout the life of the tyre.
- All sizes are tubeless type.

Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 Review
The Multistrada’s standard road bike wheel sizes take conventional 120/70 front and a 190/55 rear. In keeping with the bike’s adventure-ish looks, the standard tyres are heavily cut Pirelli Scorpion Trails. ‘They feel good, but not inspiring’ says Hugo.
