There are no limits set by the tyre manufacturers.
The simple fact is the more you remove and refit the tyre, the more chance you have of causing an issue that can lead to the tyre failing.
You just have to check the tyre each time it comes off the rim to ensure it’s in perfect condition.
We have had some examples of tyres with very soft beads that can tear the very first time you fit the tyre to a rim. This is very rare but can be a head scratcher, as a couple of days later the customer returns with a flat tyre but there’s no puncture to be found. Only when we have removed the tyre off the rim, do we spot a tiny nick in the bead, which causes air loss.
Thankfully we only saw this in a couple of different tyres made by one manufacturer and this tyre has been largely superceded.
