What pressures should I run on track?

< 1 min read

If you are running track-focsed motorcycle tyres then check out our guide to the manufacturer’s recommended motorcycle trackday tyre pressures.

We have listed every tyre from a road legal fast-road rider’s tyre right up to a full-on superbike slick.

If you are running any other tyre, then consult your manufacturer’s recommended road pressures or the pressures listed on the sticker (usually found on your bike’s swingarm). Make a note of whether this is a recommended cold or hot pressure. If it is a hot pressure, just ride your bike normally for the first session and gently build up your pace, then when you enter the pits check your pressures as soon as possible, make of a note of them and adjust them to match the recommended pressures from your tyre manufacturer.

If in doubt, ask the tyre fitter at the track event.
